The DS18 PRO-EXL88 comes straight out of DS18's EXL — Extremely Loud — series, an 8" mid-range built to be exactly that: loud, clear, and relentless. It's a strong choice for a bagger, a side-by-side, a slingshot, or a pro car-audio build that needs vocals and detail to cut over everything else.

Why we recommend it

The EXL line is DS18's high-output midrange, and the EXL88 handles 400 watts RMS (800 watts max) at 8 ohms with a strong 96dB sensitivity across a 94Hz–10kHz range. A 2" voice coil and 49 oz magnet keep it efficient and reliable at volume. The 8-ohm build makes it easy to wire several together for a bigger pro-audio setup.
