Cicada CMB8.S4 — 8" Pro Sound Mid-Bass Driver (Single, 4Ω)
The CMB8.S4 is an 8" pro-sound mid-bass driver built for serious custom Harley audio. Like its 10" big brother, it's a full-custom-install driver that handles big power and delivers deep, high-output midbass with authority. If you're building a no-compromise system and want your mid-bass to hit like a drum, this is the driver.
Why we recommend it
A 2.5" 6-layer 4-ohm high-temp voice coil, a vented voice-coil gap, and a heavy die-cast aluminum basket let it handle 600W RMS (1200W max) and dissipate heat under hard use. Typically run in pairs (left and right bag). Sold individually.
Fitment & install notes
Total custom fabrication required — these are power-hungry drivers for custom builds, not factory locations. Cicada pairs them with amps like the BDA2000.4D (bridged) or BDA2200.1D mono. Plan on additional lithium battery capacity — roughly 116A of current per 1,000W RMS. Message us and we'll spec the amp, power, and install.
