Cicada CH8.4W — 8" Coaxial Horn Speakers (4Ω)

The Cicada CH8.4W brings big, full-range horn sound to 8" speaker locations — a favorite upgrade for baggers, powersports vehicles, and marine builds that want to move serious air. The larger 8" cone digs deeper into the midbass than a 6x9 while the horn-loaded aluminum tweeter keeps highs crisp and cutting over wind and engine noise. Cicada's Rain or Shine all-weather design and water-resistant cone are made to live outdoors, so they hold up to rain and spray year after year.

Why we recommend them

You get 250W RMS handling, a loud 95dB sensitivity, and an external 12dB crossover with a -3/-6dB tweeter attenuator to dial the highs in for your ears and your helmet. The die-cast aluminum basket and neodymium motor stay light and cool under hard, sustained volume. This is the 4Ω version — the right choice for standard 4-ohm wiring; if you're running a 2-ohm-capable amp and want maximum output, look at the CH8.2W.
