Aside from its attractive appearance, thiscarbon fiber coneis exceptionally light, surprisingly rigid, and provides great damping to keep narrow peaks under control.
Despite its extremely compact design, our technical team was able to achieve precision in the vocal reproduction range, resulting in the famous PRV audio PRO Audio sound.
A special treated surround and flat spider suspend the cone and keep it linear through the limits of excursion with minimal restriction, further improving dynamics and transients.
This midrange features many premium components, one of which is stitched lead wires, which connect the voice coil to the terminals through a single layer spider suspension, all being driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling, complemented by a high strength neodymium motor that immerses the voice coil in a strong magnetic field.
You can expect excellent off-axis and transient response from this water-resistant speaker for a great, controlled sound, making an easy transition to asuper tweeter.
