The DS18 PRO-SM8.2 is an 8" shallow, water-resistant mid-range built for the open-air, hard-riding world — full, rich sound that holds up at 60+ down the highway, on a boat, or out on the trail. Made for baggers and motorcycles first, and just as at home on boats, slingshots, side-by-sides, and in car audio.

Riders put speakers through rain, sun, and constant vibration. The PRO-SM line answers with a water-resistant cone and reinforced parts that shrug off the elements and the shaking. A ferrite motor delivers efficient power, and the 2-ohm single voice coil lets you pull maximum power from your amp at the lowest resistance without bridging. It handles 250 watts RMS (500 watts max) with a strong 97dB sensitivity across a 65Hz–12kHz range — and the shallow 2.5" depth fits tight spots.

Sold individually (single speaker). Shallow 2.5" mounting depth, 7" cutout. 2-ohm — pair with an amp that's stable at 2 ohms to draw full power. Also offered in 6.5" and 6x9" versions across the PRO-SM line.
