The DS18 PRO-NEO8 is an 8" neodymium mid-range with a built-in silver bullet tweeter — a screaming, wide-range midrange that cuts over wind and engine noise on a bagger, a side-by-side, a slingshot, or a pro car-audio build.

Why we recommend it

Neodymium magnets deliver the strongest magnetic force of any commercially available motor, which means more volume at higher efficiency and less weight than a ferrite mid. The NEO8 handles 300 watts RMS (600 watts max) at 4 ohms with a huge 98.9dB sensitivity, so it gets very loud without max power. The integrated Silver Bullet Resonator widens the top end for a fuller range, and the tooled aluminum basket looks the part.

Fitment & install notes

Sold individually (single speaker). Mounting depth 3.38", 7.17" cutout. 4-ohm — easy to drive from most amplifiers. The built-in bullet means you can run it without a separate tweeter, though a super tweeter still adds air up top.
