The DS18 PRO-NEO6.8R is the 8-ohm answer to DS18's hugely popular NEO-R midrange — one of the loudest, hardest-hitting 6.5" mids they build. Neodymium-driven and efficient, it's made to scream over wind and engine noise on a bagger, a side-by-side, a slingshot, or a pro car-audio build.

Why we recommend it

A neodymium motor gives you more power handling, higher efficiency, and less weight than a traditional ferrite speaker — and the NEO6.8R uses all of it. It handles 300 watts RMS (600 watts max) at 8 ohms with a big 96dB sensitivity, so it delivers serious volume without needing max power to sound full. The 90Hz–10kHz cone stays clean and cutting, and the tooled red-aluminum basket looks as sharp as it sounds. Best paired with a pro-audio super tweeter to complete the range.

Fitment & install notes

Sold individually (single speaker). Mounting depth 3.29", 5.91" cutout. 8-ohm — ideal for series/parallel pro-audio wiring. Run a high-pass crossover around 160Hz and pair with a strong mid-range amp to get the most from it.
