Why we recommend them

The EX8NCD pairs a neodymium-motor 8" midrange with a full-sized compression driver on the back, so you get real horn-loaded highs — no separate horn needed — with a huge 105.7dB efficiency. It handles 450 watts (900 watts dynamic) across an 80Hz–20kHz range. The IP52-rated cone, treated cloth surround, and die-cast vented basket keep it durable, and the 1.4" polyester tweeter diaphragm feeds a wide-dispersion conical waveguide for even coverage. A 12dB crossover and protective grills are included.
