Cicada CM8.4X — 8" CMC Mid-Bass Speakers (4Ω)
The CM8.4X is a dedicated 8" mid-bass driver with Cicada's Carbon Matrix Composite cone — the big-cone choice when you want maximum midbass impact from a component or multi-way system. The extra cone area moves more air than a 6.5" for deep, chest-hitting midbass, and the all-weather Rain or Shine build keeps it reliable through rain and heat.
Why we recommend it
The CMC cone is light, stiff, high-temp, and efficient (94dB), and the OFC copper shorting ring tightens control. It handles 250W RMS for serious punch. This is the 4Ω version — the right pick for standard 4-ohm wiring; for a 2-ohm-capable amp, look at the CM8.2X.
